The 2022 Zhejiang Water Tournament Invitational Rowing Competition was held at the Fuyang Aquatic Center in Hangzhou from the 4th to the 6th. This is also the first competition held at this venue after the completion of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the Hangzhou Asian Games). In this competition, Fuyang Aquatic Center strictly benchmarked against the Hangzhou Asian Games main competition, conducted a full-process and all-element actual combat exercise, and tested the running ability of the event in an all-round way.

In this competition, 72 athletes from 9 sports teams including Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Huzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Taizhou, Lishui, etc., competed in the men's open 2000m single sculls and women's open 2000m Singles sculls, men's lightweight 2000m double sculls and other 14 events competed, resulting in 14 gold medals. Among the participating athletes, there are many national championship champions and World Youth Championship winners and runners-up.

This competition is the first competition held after the completion of Fuyang Aquatic Center. In order to ensure the smooth holding of the event, the venue operation team of Fuyang Aquatic Center specially established the event organizing committee and 19 specialized agencies to provide service guarantee, and formulated work plans such as medical and epidemic prevention, safety guarantee, logistics guarantee and transportation guarantee, so as to fully guarantee the athletes, Coaches and technical officials participated in the competition.

During the Hangzhou Asian Games, there will be competitions of rowing and kayaking (still water, slalom) and three sub-events at the venue, which will produce 30 gold medals.
